Benefits of Persian Yoga®

Persian Yoga is an ancient motor program.

The human body is a marvel, finely tuned for movement. This innate ability is encoded within our genetic makeup, and from the moment we enter the world, it is awakened by external influences. Our interaction with the environment triggers an ancient motor program, leading us to achieve vital physical and neurological developmental milestones in a sequential manner.

Persian Yoga, intelligently crafted and refined over time, is designed to reinforce these innate human movement patterns.

Often, overuse, injuries, poor posture, or stress can disrupt our motor program, hindering the expression of these natural patterns. However, through its dynamic and circular exercises and routines, Persian Yoga breathes new life into our body’s movement program. It effectively resets and reinforces the program, revitalizing and strengthening our inherent natural vitality.

Persian Yoga integrates all forms of biomotor abilities in one systematic physical practice. I have been practicing Persian Yoga® weekly for three years and have found the benefits to be far more than I could have imagined.

Persian Yoga is embraced by martial artists, particularly wrestlers and physical culturists, as a means to cultivate a comprehensive range of physical skills for holistic strength development. It serves not only as a physical practice but also as a spiritual path and way of life.

Numerous esteemed Olympic wrestlers, including Pahlavan Takhti, Pahlavan Soleimani, and Pahlavan Yazdani (all Olympic gold medalists), began their journey as practitioners of Persian Yoga. They stand among the many renowned Olympic and world champions who credit their success to this art.

The array of unique, multi-skill, and multi-planar circular exercises can be incorporated into the Persian Yoga conditioning system or utilized independently to tailor workouts for beginners, dedicated fitness enthusiasts, and mature athletes.

Crucially, this potent practice is also employed for healing, rehabilitation, and ensuring athletes maintain strength, agility, freedom from pain, and protection against injuries.
